You can convert your office, training room, or even your living room into a guest room thanks to this space-saver. When planning your space, assign a clearance of 30"–36" around the open bed if possible to make getting in and out of bed easier (120" perpendicular to the anchoring wall and 125" parallel to the wall).

When the bed is folded up, it's a large, beautiful cabinet. To fold out the bed, you simply pull on the handle, and flip the support leg down onto the floor. No heavy lifting or pulling is required thanks to the dual-piston system. The pistons are calibrated so that the weight of the mattress keeps the bed open. You can even leave the bedding on the bed (but not the pillows). The frame must be attached firmly to the wall since our murphy bed folds up vertically.

To avoid risk of injury, the bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0.5 inches or thicker). All necessary hardware is included. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg).
